Introduction
I live in a beautiful small town near Budapest, in Hungary, with my husband and our two (teenage) kids.
I started studying psychology (English ODL diploma in psychology), cognitive behavioral therapy and schema therapy with already holding a degree in Human Resources (University of Pécs).
I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioral Consultant (2020 VIKOTE - Semmelweis Medical University) and in addition I have attended a number of other professional trainings both in Hungary and abroad.
Some of these worth mentioning are e.g:
Vadaskert Child and Adolescent Psychiatry:
-
Work with adolescents
-
Social exclusion
-
Treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder
Grief Recovery Institute:
-
Grief Recovery Specialist training
After finishing my CBT studies, I realised,
that it woud be nice to further develop my knowledge,
so in the fall of 2020 I started studying schema therapy
(VIKOTE- ISST International Society of Schema Therapy ).
I grauated and became
a certified Auxiliary Schema Therapist in March 2023.
My workplaces during my internship:
-
Vadaskert Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
-
Napkör Mental Health Foundation
-
Forrásház Mental Health Center
-
VIKOTE (Center of Cognitive and Schema Therapy)
Although my interest in the profession of psychology was already evident in high school,
I made the decision and found my place in this field a little later.
I began to turn to the helping professions at the age of 22, during my 3 and a half year stay
in England, and my work there (with autistic and socially and mentally handicapped children) has remained a defining experience for me ever since.
In my lifetime, since I was a child, I have experienced many difficult situations,
traversed several different pits, and have seen quite a few people being stuck and lost, who would have needed a hand toward them.
This is how the motivation began to crystallize in me to stand by these people and help them find their own way out.
Areas I can help you the most:
-
self-knowledge development
-
confidence problems
-
relationship and family difficulties, conflicts
-
recognition of patterns and beliefs behind repetitive patterns
-
anxiety, stress management
-
grief and difficult life situations
-
career choice, career change, career planning, job search support
(For those who turn to me in this field I have developed a special method, based on self-knowledge and career knowledge)
The approach and methods I use:
-
Person-centered approach
-
Cognitive therapy
-
Behavioral therapy
-
Schema therapy
-
Relaxation and meditation techniques
-
grief recovery method
I also use the techniques of the above therapeutic methods to develop self-knowledge.
My work is based on a person-centered approach, since empathy and unconditional acceptance can mobilize hidden resources itself, and by the end of the counseling process, those who turn to me can get a more complete picture of themselves and a better understanding of the situations in their lives.
After our first appointment we will figure out together how to proceed, how many times, how often we will meet.
Counselling fee:
14,000 HUF / hour
Office hours:
Monday to Friday: 18-20
